This project was a sculpting and rigging study of a skeletal whale creature that visited my dream. I was floating in a pool of darkness, unable to determine if I was underwater or floating in space. Out from the darkness emerged two whale-like skeletal creatures swimming around my body. They would swim through me, tearing limbs one at a time. Though it sounds terrifying, I was overwhelmed with a sense of gratitude and love! The air I was breathing and the space between my fingers were no different from that of the creatures. Upon waking up, I immediately sat down and began 3D sculpting them. They are called GateKeepers because I like to imagine they are the protectors of my dream world.
